Created by Artists for Artists
The guiding idea of the festival: a platform developed from the perspective of filmmakers, musicians and artists, putting their creative work at the centre.
- Artistic independence
- Respect for creative work
- International networking
- Visibility for filmmakers and musicians
- Exchange between established artists and new talent
- A festival structure from the artists’ perspective
With the Planet Earth Filmfestival Nedy John Cross created a place where international filmmakers come together, show their work and make real connections. The festival takes place in Bayreuth, directly before the world-famous Wagner Festival.
